Claudia Li, Neurobiology and Physiology Major Competes with Purdue Supercomputing Team
11-29-2018
Claudia Li recently traveled to Dallas as part of the only all-women team in the competition. Claudia had this to say about this awesome experience "Competing as a part of Purdue’s Student Cluster Competition team was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. When I first heard of the opportunity to join the team, I was excited to learn about supercomputers and how to use them. I was completely new to high performance computing (HPC) and have a limited programming background, so I felt way out of my comfort zone at times. I’m really glad that I stuck with it. Through the competition experience, I’ve gained lot more confidence in my ability to do well in something new. There’s still lots to learn, and I would love to continue being a part of SCC in the future."
